Buds and Blooms owner Lucas Christenson is looking for crafters to fill the nooks and crannies of his popular flower shop on the corner of Griffin Avenue and Porter Street in Enumclaw. He’s hoping to nestle their pieces between his large inventory of fresh flowers, tropical plants, European garden baskets, contemporary and traditional arrangements and silk and dried floral arrangements.
The goal behind the newly-built Becker Medical Building is to bring more specialists into the Enumclaw area and with owner Dr. Nancy Becker taking the lead and Cardio Consultants following, reality is taking shape.
What a year 2008 has been!
At the Enumclaw Visitor Information Center, our staff and 20 volunteers mailed relocation and informational packets on Enumclaw nationwide and handled more than 3,000 phone calls answering an array of questions from directions to Mount Rainier to local business inquiries. Our Web site has had approximately 500,000 hits in one year alone. We helped more than 4,000 visitors and chamber guests from Enumclaw to Seattle, across the United States and around the world.
The Board of Directors for the Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce started 2008 with only four goals and one of them was to strengthen the relationship between the Chamber and Sumner. As 2008 draws to a close, I am happy to take note of all the connections between the Chamber and Sumner that happened in November and December.
