A quick word on censorship

Please don’t make a recent letter writer a columnist.

Editor’s note: This letter is in response to the letter, “Examining Georgia and Colorado voter ID laws,” published May 19.

Mr. Benson, you are certainly welcome. I enjoy your letters, as they are very reasonable, well thought out and often informative.

I believe you probably misunderstood me as far as David Cannon. I am not asking the Courier-Herald to censor him, just give equal space to others, because it seems he dominates the space for letters every week.

As far as censoring him, I will do that personally by not reading his nonsense any longer. I would, however, be disappointed if this paper were to make him a regular contributor in the same capacity as Rich Elfers or Daisy Devine.
