I have some very important things to talk about that I believe you will find very interesting and very disturbing. The following things are:
– America became great not because of what government did, but because of what government was prevented from doing.
– Good government is a negative force, not a positive force. It doesn’t take on power to do things for people. Its role is to protect the people from one another, from foreign intrusion and from government itself.
– The essence of freedom is the limitation of government.
– The Bill of Rights grants no rights whatsoever. Its purpose is to safeguard God-given rights. No one should talk about “Second Amendment rights.” Instead, refer to the God-given right to own a weapon protected by the Second Amendment.
– The Bill of Rights says government cannot, cannot, cannot all the way up to the marvelous Tenth Amendment that says in effect, “If we forgot anything, you can’t do that either.”
– If the Constitution were fully enforced, the federal government would be 20 percent its size and 20 percent its cost(maybe 10 percent).
– Congress should not be doing this or that. It should be undoing plenty of unconstitutional programs, bureaus and cabinet-level departments.
– If you give anyone power to inflate, he will.
– Every one of the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto is partially or fully in place in the United states- and it all happened in the 20th century.
– Monopolies don’t exist unless government is behind them. Exception: if someone produces a product so sophisticated that no one else can figure out how to make it, he’s got a monopoly, but only for a time.
– The greatest monopoly in our nation is the Federal Reserve. Its monopoly is protected by legal tender laws that designate only the Federal Reserve paper as legal money. This is tyranny.
– If the Federal Reserve is abolished, it should be replaced with nothing.
