Bureaucrats are still mad at losing 2016 election

That’s why they’re derailing Trump’s presidency.

Editor’s note: This letter is in response to the column, “Flaws in the Republican impeachment defense,” published Dec. 18 2019.

Your columnist tries to make a case from thin air to support his view.

The issue boils down to the fact that POTUS beat the establishment and they were not happy with the results. The end result is they are trying to the best of their competence to derail his presidency, when in fact they are more likely to ensure he gets four more years to reshape what was/is an out-of-control bureaucracy.

There is good reason there is a separation of the Executive, Judicial, and Legislative branches. For a bunch of folks who existed a long time ago, they were sure prescient.
