Cannon is wrong again – just sayin’

People can’t agree on what CRT even is, let alone how to teach it

So, David, do you work in a pretzel factory? And how do you speak out of both sides of your mouth at the same time? You first claim that you “support fully the concepts of promoting and supporting ‘Racial, Cultural or Ethnic diversity or inclusiveness.’ ” You then go on to twist and distort the facts to make it clear that you support none of those things.

You start out by saying that (CRT) Critical Race Theory “is being taught in all our schools, from elementary on up through college, and in our businesses.” I didn’t do extensive research on the subject but I did look into it and one of the first things that I found is that it is being taught virtually “nowhere,” and a lot of people who like the idea can’t even agree what, exactly should be included in the subject when and if it is taught.

Nowhere did I see any mention of quotas or equity in hiring, promoting or any other aspect of society. CRT says nothing about job ratios or how they might be implemented, this is just more made up BS in your confused mind.

CRT is, indeed, an attempt to end racism, but not by emphasizing skin color. It’s mostly about ending systemic racism in our society and teaching more inclusive American history of what really went on in our country regarding slavery, and one of the worst genocides in history regarding native Americans.

One of the reasons that disaster relief is being looked at for minorities is because, in a lot of cases, they were left out of the original relief efforts. Oh, and please enlighten us on where it is being taught that when you fail at something, it’s not your fault?

By your continued writings on these pages, dividing people and setting people apart certainly seems to be what you are trying to accomplish. If you would take some time to actually “try” and get your facts straight, you probably wouldn’t have anything to write about, just sayin’.
