Change doesn’t come easy

My children were teased terribly at Enumclaw schools.

My children went to the Enumclaw schools. We lived out by Ravensdale. They were teased terribly by not living in the “right part of town” and were not able to play sports because they didn’t belong to the right family.

Now they are grown, and I have grandchildren that are mixed ethnicities. When we visit my daughter who lives in town, they say, “What a beautiful town,” and I respond: “Beautiful on the outside, but so ugly on the inside.” The ultimate deceiver. Good luck with changing the town. My children are in their 40s.
