Fish ladder decision outside Buckley council’s power

Clarifying the record raised by a previous letter-writer.

In response to Mr. Sundstrom’s letter about the White River hatchery (“Buckley deserves better than Mr. Burkett for mayor,” published Oct. 13): I was Buckley City Planner at the time. The viewing platform was denied by federal decision makers, not the city council.
