I just saw a Faux news flash: Trump is going to declare himself to be the next Pope. Trump is mumbling something about “no one can pope better than him.”
I read recently that one of the most asked questions by foreigners of Americans is “How could so many Americans have voted for Donald Trump [again!]?” This question is up there with “Why do you [Americans] love guns?” and “Why doesn’t your government offer free health insurance coverage to its people as a right?”
In which other democratic nation would an individual with such a flawed character be elected president twice? The negative adjectives to describe Trump are endless. How could 78,000,000 voters prefer a convicted felon, a proven (italics for emphasis) amateur, corrupt, lawless, venal, irreligious, amoral, prolific hypocrite (e.g., the U.S. citizenship application for Melania was sketchy at best. Falsified information? Improper?), serial liar, sexual predator, uneducated (3rd graders talk and read better than Trump) incurious, ignorant of the rule of law, ignorant of government, erratic, school yard bully, mob boss wanna-be.
I don’t care what political side you are on, your religion, or your wealth status; you have to admit and agree that Trump’s first 100 days of his second presidency is patently unacceptable. To disagree with this assertion suggests one is contrary, obstinate, gullible and complicit in burning down our American experiment. Not only that, you were conned before “Day One.”
Writing letters to the Courier-Herald about the abomination in the White House is my therapy. Thank you for reading.
Everyone should see these last 100 days were a disaster
