With election season upon us, we want to express our strong support for Julianne DeShayes and her re-election to the Enumclaw School Board. Over the past four years, Julianne has shown steady, principled leadership and a genuine dedication to advancing the mission of the Enumclaw School District—preparing every student for success in school and in life.

Julianne is fully invested in our schools. She’s a familiar face at events across the district, engaging with students, staff, and families—not just as a board member, but as a parent and neighbor who truly cares. She listens carefully, seeks to understand the diverse perspectives within our community, and advocates for policies that foster opportunity, belonging, and growth for all learners.

Her investment is also deeply personal. For the past 13 years, Julianne has trusted the Enumclaw School District with the education of her daughters. She herself is a proud product of ESD, having moved to Enumclaw as a high school student and experienced firsthand the impact of caring, dedicated teachers. That experience shaped her future—and today, she works tirelessly to ensure every student in our district has the same chance to thrive.
