Long on opinions, short on facts

When you point the finger at someone else, three of your fingers point back at you.

Jon Buss and David Cannon should get along famously. They are both very long on uncorroborated opinions and very short on facts.

No evidence of racist police killing of unarmed black men?

George Floyd had a knee on his neck for over nine minutes.

Philando Castile was a black man pulled over in Minnesota who complied in every way possible. He stated he had a concealed carry permit and his gun was in the glove compartment. He was not reaching for the glove compartment to get his license and registration, but the officer still shot him 5 times, as seen on his dash camera.

A black man stopped in South Carolina for a broken taillight ran from the officer, who shot him several times in the back and then planted a weapon on him, all caught on cell phone camera. A young black man in Chicago, who appeared to be high on drugs, was walking away from police, not fleeing, just walking, shot 14 times. A black man in New York City, selling cigarettes on the street, held in a choke hold until he died.

These are just a few of the many caught on video, and that doesn’t even account for all of the times they are not caught on camera. Not racist indeed. We can only hope that these are the cops that are fleeing the profession. I’m not sure I would want well trained military veterans for officers, unless they were military police, because for the most part, they are trained to combat an enemy, not to serve the community.

Nearly all of the gains for the common man in our country have been by “Liberals.” Buss calls liberalism a mental disorder. I would counter that I find conservatism to be a mental disorder because, too many times, these conservatives twist what little knowledge they have of the facts to fit their own agenda.

Just look at FOX News: Their defense in court of their commentators was that no reasonable person would believe what they were saying. In other words, we should be free to say whatever we want with impunity because any reasonable person wouldn’t believe their bull anyway. Like there are any reasonable people who even watch FOX News. That is part of the problem; the people who get their news from FOX are not reasonable people.

If he had even examined the laws he is wailing about, he would find that almost none of what he declares about them are true. But conservatives, in my experience, have never let facts get in the way of what they think is a good narrative. He also keeps referring to Democrats as psychopaths. If ever there was an example of psychopathic behavior, I would say Jon fits the bill perfectly.

Did you ever notice Jon, when you are pointing the finger at someone else, three of those fingers are pointing at you? Just sayin’.
