Winners of the 2014 GEMs juried art exhibit have been named by the city of Enumclaw’s Cultural Programs coordinator and members of the city Arts Commission.

Winners of the 2014 GEMs juried art exhibit have been named by the city of Enumclaw’s Cultural Programs coordinator and members of the city Arts Commission.

The exhibit is currently on view at Gallery 2014, found in council chambers at Enumclaw City Hall, 1339 Griffin Ave. The exhibit runs through Sept. 2.

The following were announced as winners.

First Place Award: Michael Dilbeck, photographer.

Second Place Award: William Davis, painter.

Arts Alive! Award: Wanda McArthur, painter.

Spectrum Creative Alliance Award: Jill McDavit, decorative tied flies.

The People’s Choice Award winner will be selected by a vote of gallery visitors and will receive donations from the public. The name of the artist and the award amount will be announced at the end of the exhibit.

Hours for the exhibition space are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, except holidays.
