From Sumner School District:

Bonney Lake High School Drama and Music departments present the musical comedy “Guys and Dolls,” by Frank Loesser. Considered one of Broadway’s most hilarious shows, “Guys and Dolls” has been described as one of the best musicals ever written for American theater, winning a Best Musical Comedy Award with its 1951 production debut.

“Guys and Dolls” tells the tale of Nathan Detroit, a gambler engaged for 14 years to Hot Box dancer Adelaide, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can’t make the next girl he sees fall in love with him. That “next girl” is Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart Salvation Army-type reformer. Featuring songs such as “Luck be a Lady,” and  “Bushel and a Peck,” the show is a balance of story, dance, music, and romance.
