Holiday classic warms winter stage in Sumner

ManeStage Theatre Company continues its fourth season with the beloved holiday classic “It’s A Wonderful Life! – the musical!”

“It’s A Wonderful Life” is a musical adaptation based on Frank Capra’s cinematic masterpiece and will be performed by a cast of more than 50 experienced artists.

Starring Brian Redpath as George Bailey, Steven M. Duncan as Clarence, Lynn Pratt as Mary Bailey, Jim Young as Henry Potter and Timothy B. Lott as Uncle Billy, this heartwarming musical captures the true spirit of the Christmas season.     

“It’s A Wonderful Life” opens at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Sumner Performing Arts Center, 1707 Main St. Performances are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday; 7 p.m. Dec. 3; 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 4; 2 p.m. Dec. 5; 7 p.m. Dec. 10; 2 and 7 p.m. Dec. 11; and 2 p.m. Dec. 12.

The show is directed and choreographed by ManeStage Theatre Company Executive Director Brenda S. Henson. The costumers are Judy Brooks, Joelle Collins and Jodi Josephson and the music director is Jennifer Garretson.
