The Enumclaw Expo Center and Evenings on the Plateau series finalize the season with a performance by country singer Jonathan Harris. He’ll be performing at the fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

A singer and songwriter, Harris has been performing all around the Pacific Northwest since 1997.

He has had the honor of warming the stage for a list of Country Music Artists that reads like a who’s who list. He was named as one of Jim Beam’s top five artists in the nation and is proud to own the custom Les Paul guitar Jim Beam presented to him as a birthday gift.

Harris was born and raised in Tacoma and music has always been his passion. His love of country music and the outdoors come straight from his Northwest upbringing. He loves to fish, hunt, golf and snowboard.

In late 2006, Harris was signed by Region Records in Nashville, Tenn. His album, “Where Concrete Don’t Grow,” was released in April 2007. The title cut was written by Harris and he co-wrote two other songs on the album.

Local merchants from Simply Fetching, an Enumclaw dog boutique, will provide decorative items for sale at each of the tables during the concert.

Grants from 4Culture and support from the city of Enumclaw, The Enumclaw Courier-Herald, Puget Sound Energy and Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Group keep ticket prices low. Tickets are $14 for adults, $11 for seniors, 65 years and older, and students, infant to 18 years old.
