Enumclaw VFW Post 1949 is planning to have a garage sale to raise funds for the Post. The sale will be held Friday, May 6, from 8 am to 4 pm; this is a one-day only event.

The Post is looking for donations of household items to sell — no large furniture, mattresses, broken items or items in disrepair will be accepted.

Items may be dropped off on Wednesday, May 4, and Thursday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 to p.m. at 24244 S.E. 244th St.

All funds raised will remain within the community.
