Like other anabolic supplements, Anabolic Boost is marketed towards men who want to boost testosterone, increase lean muscle mass, and trim body fat, among other goals.

Does Anabolic Boost really work? How can you use muscle salts to dissolve fat? Find out everything you need to know about this unique supplement today in our review.

What is Anabolic Boost?

Anabolic Boost is a liquid formula that comes in a spray bottle. You can only buy Anabolic Boost through MuscleSpray.net, where it’s priced at around $47 per bottle.

image 7

By spraying Anabolic Boost under your tongue daily, you can purportedly maximize muscle gains, boost testosterone levels, and enjoy other powerful benefits.

As men get older, their testosterone levels naturally drop. By the time you reach age 50, your testosterone levels may be as little as half of what they were when you were 30.

Anabolic Boost is marketed towards older men who want to enjoy powerful muscle-building benefits at any age. It’s specifically marketed towards men over 40 who want to build more muscle.

Obviously, it would help if you were skeptical any time a supplement claims to boost testosterone – or any time a supplement contains the word ‘anabolic’ in its name. Let’s take a closer look at how Anabolic Boost supports testosterone and increases lean muscle mass.

How Does Anabolic Boost Work?

Anabolic Boost contains vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and herbal extracts that boost total and free testosterone levels in men.

Anabolic Boost makers added the ingredients in concentrated form to a liquid formula, then packaged it into a spray bottle.

You spray Anabolic Boost underneath your tongue, hold it for 15 seconds, and enjoy powerful benefits.

Typically, you need to take anabolic steroids to raise testosterone. Testosterone is a crucial hormone for men’s health. Exercise and diet play a crucial role in testosterone. However, if you already eat right and exercise, it’s hard to increase testosterone any further. That’s why many men take anabolic steroids, which do raise testosterone directly.

Obviously, anabolic steroids are linked with dangerous side effects. They’re also illegal in many places.

As you may have guessed from the name, Anabolic Boost is marketed to men who want to enjoy anabolic steroids’ benefits – without the side effects.

In fact, Anabolic Boost even claims to raise hormones that anabolic steroids may not target. The formula claims to boost levels of growth hormones (like human growth hormone or HGH) in your bloodstream, helping you build muscle stronger and faster.

Anabolic Boost Features & Benefits

The makers of Anabolic Boost claim you will experience all of the following benefits soon after taking the formula:

  • Boost growth hormone production
  • Get harder muscles and stronger lifts
  • Combat age-related muscle loss
  • Support youthful anabolic sensitivity
  • Tap into your body’s natural storehouse of growth hormone production

These advertised benefits are significant. Typically, you only raise growth hormone through intense exercise or dietary changes (or by injecting yourself with weird formulas directly). Anabolic Boost claims to offer the benefits of HGH boosters – all through a simple under-the-tongue drop.

The creators of Anabolic Boost even claim their formula will work within “minutes.” You don’t have to wait long for the benefits of Anabolic Boost to become noticeable:

“You can naturally boost growth hormone in minutes… And begin to see noticeable sleeve-splitting muscle growth in the mirror during your workouts… Your anabolic hormones will only drop to the point of you becoming a tired-out weakling if you allow them to…And from now on, when other guys your age talk about feeling “over the hill,”…You’re the guy saying…Hill? What Hill? I’m Not Over Any Damn Hill! I’m Just Gettin’ Started!”

The spray makers also claim you’ll get more attention from “hot younger women at the gym” while also being able to “recover from your workouts much faster,” among other benefits that appeal to older men.

How Does OKG Work?

Anabolic Boost makes a big deal out of its use of OKG, also known as ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate.

OKG is a type of salt linked to hormone production. Some supplements contain OKG as a way to boost testosterone and growth hormone.

image 6

The makers of Anabolic Boost describe OKG as “a ‘new therapy’ to help older men combat age-related muscle loss.” They claim OKG boosts your body’s growth hormone production while maintaining anabolic sensitivity, naturally raising testosterone levels.

It’s no secret how OKG works: OKG increases amino acid production and activity. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and protein is the building block of muscle.

By stimulating amino acid production, OKG helps you build more muscle and get better gains at the gym. That’s why many pre-workout supplements contain amino acids.

However, the makers of Anabolic Boost claim not all OKG is made equally. The company claims to use a superior form of OKG to maximize muscle growth and growth hormone production. You place this OKG under your tongue daily, then enjoy powerful hormonal changes as a result.

How Does the Growth Factor Complex Work?

Anabolic Boost also contains a formula called Growth Factor Complex. This formula claims to boost growth hormone production even further.

Growth Factor Complex contains gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has been linked to growth hormone production in some studies.

The formula also contains L-dopa bean, a herb called moomiyo, and other ingredients to support testosterone and growth hormones.

How Do Anabolic Boost’s Amino Acids Work?

Anabolic Boost also contains seven amino acids to “maintain youthful growth hormone levels.”

Many bodybuilding supplements contain amino acids for the reasons listed above: amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and protein lets you build stronger muscles. By giving your body amino acids, you can support lean muscle growth.

image 5

However, Anabolic Boost claims their amino acids do more than just energize the body and support lean muscle growth: they also support your body’s production of youthful growth hormones.

The seven amino acids in Anabolic Boost include:

  • Glutamine
  • Arginine
  • Lysine
  • Valine
  • Isoleucine
  • Glutamine
  • Tyrosine

Why Under the Tongue?

You take Anabolic Boost in a different way than an ordinary bodybuilding supplement. You spray the formula underneath your tongue.

It doesn’t come in the form of a capsule or tablet. You don’t mix a scoop into your protein shake. You just spray Anabolic Boost underneath your tongue, hold it for 15 seconds, and enjoy significant hormonal changes in a short period of time.

Why do the makers of Anabolic Boost use the sublingual delivery system? The company uses it because it’s a faster entry point. When you spray something underneath your tongue, the ingredients can enter your bloodstream and start working more quickly.

When you take other oral supplements, the ingredients travel through your stomach acid and digestive tract. Stomach acid destroys many of these active ingredients before your body absorbs them, reducing their effectiveness.

To avoid this issue, the makers of Anabolic Boost packaged their supplement into a sublingual spray.

To take Anabolic Boost, you spray the formula into your mouth 6 times, hold the flavorless formula underneath your tongue for 15 seconds, then swallow.

Anabolic Boost Ingredients

Anabolic Boost makers do not disclose the full list of ingredients or dosages upfront, making it impossible to compare Anabolic Boost to scientific studies or to competing for testosterone boosting supplements.

image 1

We know some of the ingredients in Anabolic Boost, but it’s unclear how much of each ingredient is inside. There could be a significant dose of all listed ingredients. Or, there could only be trace amounts. With no label shared upfront, it’s impossible to know.

Here is the full list of ingredients we know are within each spray of Anabolic Boost:

OKG: Ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate (OKG) is a type of salt that your body uses to create amino acids and protein. Some studies have shown OKG raises levels of growth hormone and testosterone production in your body. Oddly, the official ingredients list does not mention OKG (it lists alpha glyceryl-phosphoryl choline, or Alpha GPC, instead). It’s unclear how much ornithine or OKG is in Anabolic Boost – if any.

Growth Factor Complex: Anabolic Boost contains a blend of ingredients called the Growth Factor Complex. It includes gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), L-dopa bean, and moomiyo, among other ingredients. Anabolic Boost’s makers claim these ingredients have been shown to “boost total and free testosterone levels in men.” They’re herbal extracts and other compounds that could raise testosterone significantly.

Amino Acid Complex: Anabolic Boost contains seven amino acids, including glutamine, arginine, lysine, valine, isoleucine, glutamine, and tyrosine.

Shilajit Mushroom Extract: The Anabolic Boost references page mentions shilajit mushroom extract, although it’s unclear how much shilajit is in Anabolic Boost. Shilajit has been used for centuries for health and wellness, and some testosterone supplements use shilajit mushroom extract to support testosterone.

Anabolic Boost packages all of these ingredients into a flavorless formula with water. The company does not disclose what other ingredients have been added to bind the formula together. It’s possible this is the full list of ingredients. It’s also possible that Anabolic Boost contains other ingredients.

Scientific Evidence for Anabolic Boost

The makers of Anabolic Boost have not performed any clinical trials on their formula, proving it raises testosterone, increases growth hormone production, or significantly alters your hormones in any way.

The ‘References’ page contains 26 cited studies, although most studies are unrelated to Anabolic Boost’s ingredients.

If Anabolic Boost could genuinely raise testosterone and growth hormone production in the form of a non-prescription, legal spray, it would be one of the biggest men’s health breakthroughs of the decade. The company would want to publish its research in peer-reviewed journals. Unfortunately, they have not done so, making us skeptical that it works.

Some people take L-ornithine (also labeled as OKG) daily to support testosterone and other benefits. There’s some evidence that L-ornithine supports overall health and wellness throughout the body, but there’s limited evidence that OKG significantly changes your hormone production.

In this 2014 study published in Nutrition Journal, researchers told participants to take 400mg of L-ornithine per day for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks, researchers observed significantly lower levels of cortisol in the L-ornithine group compared to the placebo group.

Ornithine may not directly raise testosterone. However, anything that lowers stress can raise testosterone. Because ornithine lowers the stress hormone cortisol, it could raise testosterone indirectly. This 2005 study published in the Journal of Sports Science & Medicine found a statistically significant relationship between cortisol and testosterone in humans. Researchers found that as cortisol levels went up, testosterone levels decreased.

Some of the studies cited by Anabolic Boost were done on rats – not humans. This study analyzed the effects of ornithine alpha-ketoglutarate on rats, and found rats ate more when they received an ornithine supplement.

In that same review, researchers analyzed one study performed on children. Researchers gave L-ornithine to five boys and a girl who had previously shown growth problems. One of the children died from a liver problem before the study was completed. Of the remaining children, researchers reported no side effects and no significant changes in hormones. However, researchers did observe a faster growth rate in the children.

In other words, it’s possible OKG helps animals and humans grow by encouraging them to eat more food. However, it does not actually seem to increase testosterone or raise growth hormone production. These effects have not been seen in any major study to date.

Most of Anabolic Boost’s formula consists of amino acids. Many people take amino acids daily as a pre-workout. Some studies show amino acids help with muscle growth. Other amino acids boost energy.

In this 2003 study, researchers analyzed the effects of amino acids on older men with low testosterone levels. Researchers told 12 healthy, older men to take an amino acid supplement daily for 6 months. Researchers found that amino acid supplement was associated with lower levels of muscle protein breakdown. Because of these effects, researchers concluded that amino acids “can increase lean body mass and muscle strength over time.” However, researchers did not find significantly higher levels of testosterone.

Overall, there’s limited evidence that Anabolic Boost directly increases testosterone production or impacts growth hormone. However, it’s possible the amino acids could help with muscle growth – just like any $20 amino acid supplement you can buy online.
