ACCIDENT: A large, commercial truck didn’t adequately navigate the turn at Porter Street and Griffin Avenue the morning of Jan. 29, striking a power pole and utility box in the process.

STICKERS: Police were told the morning of Jan. 29 that unwanted bumper stickers had been placed on several vehicles in a Bailey Street neighborhood. An officer was to check for damage.

JANUARY 29: Officers responded to an afternoon hit-and-run incident on state Route 410 and headed to Wilkeson to serve a warrant. There also were calls regarding a suspicious person and a suspicious vehicle, along with an animal running loose on the south side of town.

JANUARY 28: Police learned at 8:31 a.m. of a road rage incident at SR 165 and 112th Street East. There were two calls involving Rainier School, one alleging abuse and the other alleging assault.
