The Sumner Pierce County Library is hosting Adult Story Time starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22.

This event will feature storytelling and camaraderie as radio and theater performer Harlan Zinck reads “Leaving for Kenosha” by Richard Ford.

The story involves two families in post-Katrina New Orleans and probes delicately at what it takes to cross social and racial barriers.

The library is located at 1116 Fryar Ave. 98390.
