The Enumclaw City Council unanimously voted to appoint Anthony Wright to the City Council seat vacated by the resignation of Mike Sando March 27.
The council vote 5-0 for the appointment. Councilwoman Kim Lauk was not present.
The District 31 senator wants to test Washington’s voting registration system for weaknesses.
This includes the 244th intersections with Sunrise Elementary and McDougal, as well as the Monroe and Railroad and Watson and Dickson intersections.
There will be a Kiddie Dash and prizes for the fastest runners, plus food trucks and other activities for those not participating in the race.
