Enumclaw High School senior Amanda Parker has been involved in Hornets sports through most of her high school career. But when the 18-year-old prepares for one of her games, she isn’t thinking about winning or losing or how to defend or attack opponents. She know she won’t be the one who sinks the winning shot at the buzzer, makes the game-saving dig or pitches a playoff shutout. In fact, in her four-year career, the three-sport letterman who will have lettered 11 times by graduation, hasn’t seen one minute of playing time. But as the manager for the Hornets’ volleyball, boys basketball and baseball teams, Parker knows she is a valuable asset to her teams.
