A citizen notified police the evening of March 19 of a woman hitting a man at a Cole Street location. The two were separated for the night and the issue was settled.

ASSAULT: A citizen notified police the evening of March 19 of a woman hitting a man at a Cole Street location. The two were separated for the night and the issue was settled.

MOVE ALONG: A person was found sleeping in the doorway of a building on Marion Street at 8 a.m. March 19. Police confirmed the person’s identification, then advised the sleeper to move on. Also on March 19, a female was seen sleeping in the doorway of school district property on Fell Street. She was advised to leave the school property; police returned about 90 minutes later and again asked her to leave.

MARCH 21: Aside from performing some security checks and dealing with a disabled vehicle, police were told of trouble with a juvenile at a Whitmore Way address.

MARCH 20: Police were told of an abuse case at a state Route 410 location and dealt with a verbal altercation. Also, there was a hit-and-run incident in Wilkeson and a late-night automobile accident at Sumner-Buckley Highway and Mundy Loss Road.
