Attacked with machete | Bonney Lake Police Blotter

Officers were flagged down in a grocery store parking lot on Oct. 11 by a man saying he saw a woman run out of the store screaming that her boyfriend was being attacked by a man with a machete. Officers were able to locate the woman and her boyfriend at a nearby gas station.

ATTACKED WITH MACHETE: Officers were flagged down in a grocery store parking lot on Oct. 11 by a man saying he saw a woman run out of the store screaming that her boyfriend was being attacked by a man with a machete. Officers were able to locate the woman and her boyfriend at a nearby gas station. Both were able to name the subject, who came out of nowhere near the grocery store, pulled a machete out of his shirt and struck the boyfriend’s trailer tire with the machete before taking off. The boyfriend said he did not think the man was trying to hurt him. Officers were unable to locate the other subject.

SLEEPING BEHIND THE STORE: Officers were called Oct. 11 to a report of a man sleeping behind a pet store. Officers contacted the man, who said he would leave the property. Officers found him later to serve him a trespass notification from the pet store.
