WELFARE CHECK: Officers responded to a rural address Aug. 27 to check on the welfare of a woman. She apparently was upset, had possibly attempted to take some prescription medication and departed in a vehicle. Enumclaw police were asked to watch for the woman.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A Mason Avenue resident notified police the afternoon of Aug. 25, reporting there were pry marks on a shed door. There were no suspects or witnesses.
