Attend sessions to better understand improvements to Sumner’s Sounder Station

Sound Transit has been working with the Sumner community on station access improvement options. On August 28, the Sound Transit Board of Directors selected a preferred package for access improvements and will begin further development and design of the project. Voters approved funding to improve access to Sounder commuter rail stations in the 2008 Sound Transit 2 ballot measure.
