Austin Ross from Buckley has been awarded a Dean’s Scholarship of $2,000 for the 2013-14 academic year at Eastern Washington University. This scholarship goes to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic merit and achievements in high school.

While at White River High, Ross participated in football, wrestling and track and field, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

At EWU, he hopes to major in exercise science and physical therapy.

He is the son of Richard and Ann Ross of Buckley.
