Auto accident sends one to hospital | Buckley police reports March 13-18

INJURY ACCIDENT: An officer was told at midnight March 18 of an automobile accident at the intersection of state Route 410 and Park Avenue. Upon arrival, a man was found lying on the pavement. Medical assistance was called and the man was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw for treatment.

WOMAN ARRESTED: The afternoon of March 18, an officer spotted a woman talking on a cell phone while driving. Upon contact, it was determined she was driving with a suspended license. She was issued a criminal citation and released at the scene.16-19

TOOLS TAKEN: A Rose Place resident told police March 18 an unknown person had stolen tools from a work truck.

DRUG POSSESSION: An officer stopped a vehicle at 4:15 a.m. March 15 after receiving a dispatch that the registered owner was driving with a suspended license. The driver was arrested and he was found to be in possession of drugs. His vehicle was impounded.

ONE ARRESTED: An officer stopped a speeding vehicle at 11 p.m. March 13 on state Route 410 at Lower Cemetery Road. The female driver was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant and was also found to be driving with a suspended license. She was arrested and the vehicle was turned over to a passenger, who was the registered owner.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE: A female driver was stopped shortly after 11 p.m. March 13 for failing to use a turn signal and improper lane usage. She stopped, but blocked the road. After performing some voluntary tests, she was arrested for driving under the influence. The incident occurred at state Route 165 and River Avenue.
