Black Diamond Community Center looking for holiday toy and food donations

The Black Diamond Community Center is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for children up to 17 years old.

The Black Diamond Community Center is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for children up to 17 years old.

Various ‘giving trees’ can be found around town where toys can be dropped off at, including Columbia Bank, the Black Diamond Antique Store, the library building, Lake Sawyer Grocery, The Loft, and, of course, the Black Diamond Community Center.

Toys should be dropped off no later than Monday, Dec. 14.

Gifts will be distributed on Monday, Dec. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m.

The community center is also looking for small turkeys and hams (between 10 and 12 pounds) for its food bank clients.

Turkeys and hams should be dropped off by Devember 21 and 22 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
