Officers responded to a business alarm at a Bonney Lake tattoo shop on April 5. Officers observed the front glass door was shattered, as well as the door to a neighboring business, and there was blood on the glass.

BLEEDING HEAVILY: Officers responded to a business alarm at a Bonney Lake tattoo shop on April 5. Officers observed the front glass door was shattered, as well as the door to a neighboring business, and there was blood on the glass. It was then officers heard a man shout near another business. Officers approached and saw a man with bandages hands and blood on his clothing, claiming he cut his hand throwing a rock through his grandmother’s window. Officers found possible stolen merchandise on the man, who was transported to a local hospital. After he was stitched up, he was transported to Pierce County Jail.

OFF DUTY WORK: Officers were driving in their personal vehicle when they observed another car swerve in their lane, strike a guardrail and left the road, crashing into shrubbery. Officers exited their car to check on the occupants, showing the male driver their police badges. Officers observed the driver’s eyes were glazed but no other signs of intoxication. It was then the driver returned to the car and started throwing things out of the car, saying he needed to clean up before the cops arrived. Officers asked the man to stop repeatedly and eventually grabbed him to stop him. The Washington State Patrol arrived and took the driver into custody.
