The Kiwanis Club of Bonney Lake would like to announce a new meeting day and time.  Meetings will now be held once per month on the third Tuesday of the month at Grannie Sue’s Pizza at 12noon.  The first noon meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 15th and will follow each month on the third Tuesday.

The club meetings on Tuesday mornings, 7am at Cedar Ridge Retirement, will continue on all other Tuesdays of the month.  Meetings are open to the community and individuals interested in learning more about Kiwanis and service in the Bonney Lake area.

The Kiwanis Club of Bonney Lake was chartered 9/17/96 as an organization that provides service to the community.  We extend a welcome to members of our community to join with us as we build a better Bonney Lake.  Membership is available to all men and women over the age of 18.

Recent club service activities have included such projects as Bonney Lake Days pancake breakfast, adopt-a-street road clean-up, school bus parking at the Daffodil Parade in Puyallup, Relay For Life of Bonney Lake, Clothing drive to support Relay For Life and the Bonney Lake High School Key Club, and building projects for members of the Bonney Lake Senior community.

The Kiwanis motto is “Serving the Children of the World”.  Kiwanis International includes 8,400 clubs with more than 270,000 members in 96 nations.  Last year, Kiwanis clubs donated more than $100 million and almost 6 million volunteer hours for community service projects.
