At a special Sumner City Council meeting Sept. 14, council members passed a resolution authorizing Mayor Dave Enslow sign an agreement with the city of Bonney Lake to receive assistance with inspection for city projects.

Sumner is in need of temporary assistance for engineering and inspection services and Bonney Lake has staff in the engineering division who are able to assist.

Under terms of the agreement, Bonney Lake provides a project manager for inspections and other services related to development projects.

The city engineers of Sumner and Bonney Lake will work together to create a schedule for the project manager to work up to 20 hours each week for at least a six-month period.
