The Friends of the Bonney Lake Library and the Bonney Lake library book club, Books on Tapps, are sponsoring a book club discussion at 7 p.m. August 29.

The book to be discussed is “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini. The story is set in present day Afghanistan and is about the friendship between a well-off Afghan youth and a servant’s son.
