Despite a 17-goal performance and a home field advantage at Bonney Lake High School, the Lake Tapps was bested by undefeated Tacoma 29-17 in boys Division I high school lacrosse March 29.

Tacoma netted 16 second-half goals, building on a 13-9 halftime lead, as Lake Tapps failed to successfully clear the ball time after time in the second half.

For Lake Tapps, Andy Russel, Kennan Fagan and Joey Lucchesi all netted three goals.

Lake Tapps, 1-4-0, returns to action against Seattle Prep at 7 p.m. April 2 at Game Farm Park.
