Multiple corrections and trial updates

REUNION CORRECTION: A previous “Briefly” was incorrect in announcing an EHS reunion. Here’s the correct information: An “Over 50” year class reunion for Enumclaw High graduates is being hosted on Aug. 10 in the school commons, starting at 11:30 a.m. Anyone who has attended or graduated, from 2023 on down, is invited to attend; please bring food for the potluck.

TRIAL UPDATE: A competency hearing for Donald Andrew Linder, accused of possessing an illegal firearm and explosives, has been moved from July 18 to July 27.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial for Aaron Ray Lincoln, accused of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly taking workers at a local quarry hostage, has been rescheduled from July 11 to Sept. 5.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial for Daniel Ray Evans, accused of animal cruelty after allegedly stabbing several dogs, has been rescheduled from July 11 to Aug. 22.

CORRECTION: The Courier-Herald misspelled Rene Popke’s name in the article, “King County Fair celebrates its 160th year”, published July 12.

CORRECTION: The July 12 Church Corner, “Unload your burdens and be filled with the Holy Spirit” was misattributed to Marianne Binetti; the real writer was George Dakin.
