A Public Disclosure Commission into an ESD employee has ended, and an update on gymnast Alysen Posey.

PUBLIC DISCLOSURE INVESTIGATION CLOSED: The Washington State Public Disclosure Committee closed an investigation into improper use of Enumclaw School District facilities and materials to promote a school bond measure on the February special election ballot. “PDC staff determined that, in this instance, the Respondent’s use of facilities to present information to students regarding the subject of an upcoming election and encourage them to discuss this information with their voting parents does not appear to be a violation that warrants further investigation,” an online update reads. the PDC did remind the staff member in question about rules regarding using district materials to promote or oppose ballot propositions.

ALYSEN POSEY AT WESTERNS: Peak Gymnstic athlete Alysen Posey, 13, went to Westerns last week, the first from the gym to do so. She placed 22nd overall.
