COVID testing sites closing, and an Enumclaw meeting update.

EVENT UPDATE: In the article, “Enumclaw gearing up for city hall landmark presentation,” published May 18, it was reported the city of Enumclaw’s presentation to King County’s historical landmark commission was to be held May 26. The date has now been moved to June 23; the print edition noted June 24, but the date has changed a second time. The meeting will be held in the Enumclaw council chambers at city hall.

COVID TESTING SITES CLOSING: In case you missed the news, Public Health — Seattle & King County is closing the Federal Way COVID-19 testing site this Friday, May 27, and the Auburn site on June 1.

HONORS: King County Council member Reagan Dunn honored the Thunder Dome Car Museum on May 22 for the non-profit’s donation of $60,000 to the Epilepsy Foundation of Washington, raised through a $20 raffle for a restored Chevy Nova.
