A Buckley resident was sentenced in a child rape case, and other trial updates and corrections.

CORRECTION: In the article “”Nonprofit planning pump track in Buckley,” published Sept. 24, the date of an upcoming fundraiser for the construction of a Buckley pump track was accidentally omitted. The date of the fundraiser, which will be at the Buckley Eagles Club, is Nov. 22. The online article has been updated.

CORRECTION: In last edition’s “At A Glance” Community Calendar, the Crystal Quilters show was advertised to be held in October. This is incorrect — the date has been moved to April 17 – 18. The online article has been updated.

SENTENCING UPDATE: The sentencing of Damian Pina-Raymundo, an Enumclaw resident who pled guilty to federal drug trafficking crimes, has been rescheduled from Sept. 10 to Dec. 15.

SENTENCING: Buckley resident Laurence Lee Rawdon, who pled guilty to sexually assaulting a child last July, was sentenced on Sept. 26 to an 84-month-to-life indeterminate sentence, with his potential release determined by the state Indeterminate Sentencing Review Board.
