There have been no new developments reported regarding a situation Friday morning in which a Buckley police officer suffered a broken leg during a struggle.

There have been no new developments reported regarding a situation Friday morning in which a Buckley police officer suffered a broken leg during a struggle.

According to KOMO TV – which quoted Chief Jim Arsanto – the incident occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. when an unidentified officer attempted to serve a warrant at a Buckley residence. The suspect reportedly attacked the officer and, during a struggle, the officer was injured.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene and a police K-9 unit was called to assist with the search.
