Burn ban issued for South King County

Mountain View Fire & Rescue has issued its annual burn ban from July 1 to Sept. 6 (after Labor Day).

Mountain View Fire & Rescue has issued its annual burn ban from July 1 to Sept. 6 (after Labor Day).

This burn ban is for all natural vegetation fires, even if you have a burn permit.

This burn ban does not include approved recreational fires with seasoned wood and/or charcoal. Recreational fires cannot be fueled by vegetation removed from the property, it must be seasoned fire wood or charcoal.
