SIGNS STOLEN: Officer contacted a victim Sept. 13 regarding the theft of approximately 30 campaign signs from yards throughout the city. There were no immediate suspects.

STRONG ODOR: On Sept. 13, city police responded to a site just off Mud Mountain Road, where a strong odor was said to be coming from a trailer. Officers found the trailer to be unoccupied but full of garbage, which caused the offending odor.

SEPTEMBER 15: Police responses were made to a collision at Mundy Loss Road and state Route 410, an assault at an A Street location and a domestic dispute on Elsa Street. In addition, there was a noise complaint from a Collins Road location and four traffic stops.
