On May 30 officers were flagged down by a woman whose car was on fire. After putting out the flames with a fire extinguisher, officers learned she heard a loud bang, like a gunshot, and a car quickly driving away.

HIT ON THE ‘S’ CURVE: Officers made contact with a man in the department lobby about a hit and run. The reporting party told officers as he was driving west on the ‘s’ curve near the department, a driver coming east came into his lane and hit his car. The male couldn’t find the car later, but found a rearview mirror that came off during the collision.

CAR ON FIRE: On May 30 officers were flagged down by a woman whose car was on fire. A call was made to the fire marshall but so far, no cause of the fire has been determined.
