Washington State Patrol troopers responded to a car/pedestrian collision just after sunset on SR 164/Cooper’s Corner, east of Auburn.

December 7: Washington State Patrol troopers responded to a car/pedestrian collision just after sunset on SR 164/Cooper’s Corner, east of Auburn.  The pedestrian, who was intoxicated, was struck while walking on the roadway by a vehicle traveling westbound.  The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was later released from the hospital.

December 16: The driver of a 2003 VW GTI was not injured after his vehicle struck an elk on SR 410 east of Greenwater near Crystal River Ranch.  The VW had significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.
