Carbonado, White River students named October Students of the Month | Kiwanis Club

Members of the Buckley Kiwanis Club have announced their most recent Students of the Month. The club presented awards to a trio of students during an Oct. 15 meeting.

Members of the Buckley Kiwanis Club have announced their most recent Students of the Month. The club presented awards to a trio of students during an Oct. 15 meeting.

The following information is provided by the Kiwanis Club.

Alyssa MacPhail is an eighth-grader at Carbonado Elementary School. She is a leader at the school taking the role currently as ASB president. Alyssa runs projects and is always there to volunteer to help. She helps younger students in the classroom. Alyssa is on the high honor roll, plays volleyball and basketball. Alyssa encourages other students and models ideal student behavior.

Kailee Bruner impacts the culture at White River High School. She is on the ASB executive council. Kailee participates in community service, camp counseling, besides being in sports activities. She works with special needs students at Elk Ridge Elementary.

Dane Stoeck is an eighth-grader at Glacier Middle School. He is a peer tutor in the robotics class. He helps his classmates problem solve. Dane finishes his work quickly and always asks what he can do next or what more he can do. Dane is a lacrosse player, he is social and is in leadership class in his school. He already has plans for being in the welding field after he finishes high school.
