Cast your vote to fix Enumclaw’s streets | Letter to the Editor

I'm not writing this as your elected city council member but as a private citizen. You have a choice on the ballot , to once and for all, fix our streets. By law, money can only be used for streets. The total cost is only 1/10 of one percent sales tax increase. That is only an increase from 8.6% to 8.7%. Keep in mind, we don't pay sales tax on food or pharmaceuticals and on some services. In fact, the average family probably spends less than $3000 in taxable sales in the city per year. This equates to only three dollars a year out of your pocket. Please join me in voting yes to fix our terrible streets.
