The victim said she thinks her sister is using her identification because the sister’s license is suspended. FORGERY: Police on Dec. 7 were dispatched to the Rite Aid for a report of a forged prescription. An employee at the pharmacy received a prescription for Vicodin, but believed it to be forged because of what appeared to be two different types of handwriting on the prescription. Police noted the prescription had been altered so that where the doctor had written a quantity of “six” someone added “teen” in a different handwriting. The prescription also said that the pills should be taken every six hours, but that too had been changed to 16. Police contacted the woman when she returned for the prescription. The suspect told police she had a procedure earlier in the day but did not believe six Vicodin would be enough. Police cited the suspect and released her due to no prior criminal history. The case was forwarded to the Pierce County Prosecutor for charges.

Police witnessed the vehicle pull out from a parking lot and then immediately change lanes without signaling. The officer pulled out behind the driver and watched as the vehicle drifted between lanes at a speed below the speed limit. According to the report, the driver crossed the yellow line at least twice. Upon contact with the driver, the officer immediately smelled the odor of intoxicants and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. His speech was also extremely slurred. Both the driver and the passenger denied having anything to drink. When asked to step out of the car, the driver was unsteady but refused to take any field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DUI. At the station, the driver blew two blood alcohol samples of .291 and .294, more than three times the legal limit. His driver’s license was punched and he was cited for DUI and released.

In between the books was a baggie containing a crystal substance. The woman said the gift was from her sister and was brought from California.
