Mount Rainier Christian Center, at the corner of Griffin Avenue and 244th Avenue Southeast in Enumclaw, will host “Town Hall for Hope: The Economy, Your Money, Real Answers” with Dave Ramsey at 5 and 7 p.m. April 23.

The event is a free Webcast intended to provide participants an opportunity to sit down with people in the Enumclaw community for a nationwide town hall meeting led by Ramsey. Ramsey will offer straight talk about the economy, recession, foreclosures and more. He’ll explain where we’ve come from, where we are now, and what we should be doing with our money during this time. Then, he will spend an hour answering questions.

Ramsey is a personal money manager, a popular national radio personality and best-selling author of “The Total Money Makeover.” In his latest book, a follow-up of his successful New York Times best-sellers “Financial Peace” and “More Than Enough,” Ramsey exemplifies his life’s work of teaching others how to be financially responsible, so they can acquire enough wealth to take care of loved ones, live prosperously into old age and give generously to others.

Mount Rainier Christian Center Executive Pastor Steve Mohr said the number of church members and non-church members his group is providing with financial counseling have been growing and providing a venue for this program is a way to help those looking for help and answers.
