Gardeners can learn how composting can improve their gardens and the environment during a free workshop this all at the Sumner Library.

The class is scheduled for 6 – 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Sumner Pierce County Library, 1116 Fryar Ave.

Local Master Gardener Nancy Mantey will share all about compost, and show the various methods, containers and stages of composting. Participants will receive free samples of compost.
