Convicted Enumclaw pastor Malcolm Fraser appeared in King County Superior Court again Tuesday morning.

Fraser spoke before Judge Lori K. Smith as he and his defense team had filed a formal “motion to arrest judgement” and asked for a new trial. The judge denied the request.

Fraser, who had served as assistant pastor for Sound Doctrine Church, was convicted of two counts of first-degree rape of a child and two counts of first-degree child molestation.

He is to be sentenced Friday.
