Cub Scout Pack 577 will host a recruiting event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 4 on the field adjacent to the Buckley Eagles.

The pack is looking to expand its ranks. Being welcomed are those who will be in first through fifth grades in the fall, living within the White River School District. Representatives from Boy Scouts also will be on hand to talk with those making the jump into the older group.

During the recruiting event, free hot dogs will be served and there will be projects for kids to work on.
