Pierce County Councilman Dan Roach will hold two Town Hall meetings this month to discuss the proposed Flood Control Zone District and other local topics of interest.

The District 1 councilman will hold meetings:

Wednesday, March 21, 6 p.m.

The Commons at Ballou Junior High School, 9916 136th St. E, South Hill

Thursday, March 22, 6:30 p.m.

Orting Multipurpose Center, 110 Train Street SE, Orting

The discussion will include the County Council’s proposal to create a Flood Control Zone District, which would be a special-purpose government body to fund flood protection projects.
