Boy Scout Troop 422 of Enumclaw will host its fourth annual troop dinner and auction at 6 p.m. March 26 at the Enumclaw Expo Center.

Cost for the evening is $5 and includes dinner, beverage and an auction card.

Dinner this year will be catered by Enumclaw’s Rainier Bar and Grill. A dessert auction will follow.

Highlights of the live auction include a pair of airline tickets to any Alaska Airlines destination, flight-seeing trips, a Lake Washington yacht cruise and more.

Tickets are available through members of Troop 422 or by e-mailing the troop at Auction@BSA422.net or calling 360-802-9057.

Proceeds from the auction will support the troop’s monthly outdoor trips and activities, summer camp and a nine-day canoe trip to Boys Scouts Northern Tier High Adventure Base in Ely, Minn., in July.

Troop 422 was established in Enumclaw in 1937 and includes more than 30 boys ranging from fifth-graders to high school seniors. During the past year, the troop had several boys earn their Eagle Scout rank providing community service projects for the Enumclaw area.

The troop camps year round, completed a 60-mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail last summer and also snow camps at Paradise on Mount Rainier. The troop also volunteers for a variety of service projects in the Enumclaw area, including raising and lowering the flags on Memorial Day at the cemetery.
